CARE & MAINTENANCE

D2 is a high-carbon tool steel and will provide years of dependable service when properly maintained.

After use, wipe the blade clean and keep it dry, particularly after exposure to moisture, sweat or humid conditions.

The blade does not need to be oiled after every use. A very light protective coating can be applied occasionally or after extended exposure to moisture.

An occasional drop of lubricant on the pivot will help maintain smooth opening and closing.
